I am a primary school teacher with many years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelors degree in Education and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Goldsmiths University London. I have qualified Teacher Status (QTS) fully qualified registered in the UK.

I have taught students at all ages from 5-15 and have a passion for helping students to reach their full potential. My areas of strength are in English, Reading, Writing and Maths. I am trained in the UK phonics programme and have taught all subjects in the UK curriculum for primary sector.

I have experience working with children who have disabilities, autism, ADHD and other learning barriers. I have worked with children since I was very young. I like creating my own resources to cater specifically to the individual’s needs and to create the best possible learning out come for all students.

I strive to inspire children to be the best that they can be and help them in as many ways as possible. I enjoy forming positive learning relationships with children and providing them with what they need in order to succeed.

I have a fun, bubbly and caring personality and am happy to be of help in any way that you need.

My Daughter was Tutored by Aisha (Science Tutor), whose been amazing. Initially she had little or no confidence in her ability to achieve GCSE level and had lost interest in the subjects. Aisha took her on and her teaching style was perfect in building up my daughter's confidence, so much so she went from Grade 3 to achieving Grade 8 in all 3 Science subjects. Aisha was patient, compassionate, flexible in adapting her teaching style and pace to suit my daughter's needs. She's very skilled in breaking down the subjects to student level so they can grasp the concepts whilst maintaining their interests. Allow me to thank Sue Schulkins for the wonderful work she has done with our son’s English classes. We have seen our son’s interest grow as the sessions have progressed. Before Sue started out with him - I noticed she gathered as much information as she could and she listened to us and even adopted some of our methods. She improved on them and added her own unique creativity. She was very unlike some teachers who would insist on using their own method - she never did that. She was able to find out from our son his expectations and discovered he loves unusually funny narratives. She incorporated this into her curriculum and we have seen such a marked improvement in his English comprehension. He is having fun during the English sessions and his work has improved. He is attentive and focused. Sue Schulkins is certainly a different kind of teacher and we are very happy with her work. Well done Sue.

My son worked with Katie Jackson for his GCSE Combined Science ( Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and it made a real difference. The lessons were engaging and helped him get much more confident with tricky topics and exam-style questions. Katie was patient, encouraging, and explained things clearly, which really suited his learning style. He went on to achieve a grade 7, and we’re very pleased with his progress.
