I’m a highly experienced Computer Science & IT teacher/ tutor. I have excellent knowledge in these subjects. I’m friendly, easy going and get excellent results through building good relationships with my students.

I have been a Computer Science and IT teacher for a long time, I have also taught German, English as a foreign language and a number of other subjects. I also teach outdoor education and Forest School. I ran a private language school in Japan for three years and have a long experience of private lessons and know how to get the best out of young people.

I hаve tаught bоth primаry аnd secоndаry school age students thrоughоut the cоuntry аnd аm therefоre skilled аt teаching students frоm аll wаlks оf life. I wаnt аll students tо hаve the оppоrtunity tо аchieve аnd I hаve prоfessiоnаlly develоped tо be better plаced tо deliver high quаlity educаtiоn tо thоse with аdditiоnаl needs. The sessions I run are specifically designed for each individual student. This considers the level they are currently working at, target grade, their areas for development and preferred learning style.

At GCSE, I build into each session past exam questions using the techniques learnt in the lesson. I teach all exam boards. I am happy to set homework questions to build upon the skills covered and will mark and give feedback on any work completed. In addition, I provide a plan of work to be covered for the term/ year after consulting with students and parents.

I am currently the Head of Computing at my School in Horley.
